Welcome to The Cabins at Currier Landing! You are now nestled along the wildflowered banks of the beautiful Benjamin River Harbor, where our cabins offer a perfect retreat for mind and body.

The Cabins at Currier Landing, featured in Dwell magazine as “Three Magical Tiny Cabins Take Root in a Maine Forest,” are located on the Thos. Currier Saltwater Farm. Our shore is tucked into the Benjamin River Harbor just around the bend from the Eggemoggin Reach which opens at either end to the ocean, and provides excellent sailing opportunities.

Glimpses of water & access to 300’ of the Benjamin River Harbor shore. 2 seasonal cabins; 1 studio cabin.

Centrally located on the Blue Hill Peninsula near Deer Isle, the cabins offer access to outdoor activities, cultural events, restaurants & shops.

Recycling and Trash
There are two bins located under the sink. One is for trash, the other for recycling. When you wish to empty your bins, please take your bags to the trash and recycling bins located in the shed at the top of the driveway.

Please remember to lock the shed again when you are through.

Your cabin has both an induction cooktop and a microwave/convection oven/air fryer. Instructions for using these appliances can be found in the binder.

For provisions we highly recommend shopping at Blue Hill Co-op in Blue Hill: 70 South St, Blue Hill, ME 04614 (~12 minute drive from The Cabins)

Gas Stove
The gas stove is operated by using the remote control on the wall near the stove. Use the On/Off button at the top of the remote to power the stove on. Use the button on the bottom of the remote to cycle through the settings for the flame, blower, and light.

Use the Up/Down arrows to adjust the settings. The stove can be used to maintain a certain temperature by using the thermostat button on the remote control to set the desired room temperature.

The radio in the cabin is equipped with bluetooth to allow you to stream your favorite music from your personal device. WERU 89.7 is a fun local community station.

Water Access
The town dock located on Town Landing Road off Carter Point Road is a nice place to check out boats and the harbor. If you’ve brought your own boat or kayak, this is the place to put in!

The weather can change on a dime. Umbrellas are located near the front door. If it looks like rain before you head out for the day, please close the windows!

Dark Sky
You’ll notice the path to your cabin is lit by downward facing lights. We were inspired by Dark Sky Maine, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that promotes an appreciation of the night sky as well as the health of humans and nocturnal wildlife, while maintaining dark skies overhead.
